Estrategia para abatirlo

La mayor dificultad para domesticar a un Therizinosaurus es el daño que le inflige a los supervivientes. Son territoriales y capaces de infligir un gran daño con unos pocos golpes cortos, lo que significa una muerte segura para cualquier montura que no esté lo suficientemente nivelada. También causan daño a los humanos en el monte y pueden noquear al jinete sin esfuerzo. Naturalmente, la mejor estrategia es encontrar una roca alta o un pequeño acantilado desde donde atacar, y debe ser empinado ya que este animal puede atravesar muchos terrenos difíciles. Necesitarás una montura de movimiento rápido, preferiblemente un Procoptodon, Beelzebufo o un Utahraptor para evadir los ataques. Dado que el Therizinosaurus es un animal de presa, lo mejor es meterlo en una trampa o domesticar uno cerca de la playa, donde podrás defenderlo de los depredadores. Un Therizinosaurus de nivel bajo no requerirá muchas flechas para dormirlo, pero tendrás que mantener un ritmo constante, ya que funcionaran cuando la inconciencia sea demasiado alta. Es posible que desées llevar paredes de púas para proteger al objetivo de los Raptors, Dilophosaurus o depredadores más peligrosos cercanos, dependiendo de dónde lo noquees. El Tericinosaurio es capaz de infligir muchísimo daño capaz de matar rexes, además, tiene un alcance bastante alto para golpear cuerpo a cuerpo. Es muy peligroso para jugadores que estén empezando en el juego, por lo que deberás evitarlo a toda costa.

Estrategia de caza

Los Tericinosaurios son altamente territoriales, y si algún jugador o criatura se le acerca demasiado, lo atacará sin piedad (sin importar si esa criatura es pasiva o no). Ten en cuenta que aunque no sea igual de grande o intimidante como un Rex Rex, es un digno y poderoso rival. Los Tericinosaurios son mucho más poderosos que un Alosaurio Alosaurio y no deben ser tomados a la ligera a menos que tengas una montura fuerte como un Espinosaurio Espinosaurio.No se recomienda combatir a un Thericino sin una montura o a menos de qué quieras morir o domesticarlo, tampoco se recomienda combatir cuerpo a cuerpo con el debido a que puede romper cualquier armadura rápidamente. Se recomiendan Monturas Rápidas y fuertes o armas de largó alcance .

Para matarlo de forma fácil y obtener las Archivo:Garras de Tericinosaurio.png garras de Tericinosaurio Las cuales se usan para invocar jefes deberás seguir la siguiente estrategia la cual es una de las más fáciles: súbete en una Roca alta con un volador en la cual el Tericinosaurio no pueda subir (Intenta subir al volador en la roca, si no lo haces lo más probable es que mate a tu montura a menos de que tenga buen ataque o vida) lo siguiente es dispararle Flechas Tranquilizantes si quieres domesticarlo, le puedes disparar igualmente Flechas Tranquilizantes si quieres matarlo y luego terminarlo con un arma cuerpo a cuerpo como una Espada pero se recomienda usar un rifle con suficientes balas para matarlo rápidamente. Igualmente puedes ir en un Tapejara Grifo o Wyvern y cambiar de asiento para dispararle o en el caso de los 2 ultimos subirse en su espaldas para disparar.

Armamento

Los disparos de la escopeta apuntando a la cabeza funcionan bien para abatir a un Tericinosaurio. Con cuatro disparos podrías acabar con él a corta distancia (dependiendo por supuesto de los ajustes del servidor, nivel, calidad del arma...).

Peligros

Los ataques de los Tericinosaurios pueden dañar tanto a los dinosaurios como a sus jinetes en cada ataque cuando use su ataque de mordedura (aunque el jugador debe de estar dentro del alcance del ataque para sufrir daño). Si te aproximas a un Tericinosaurio con monturas pequeñas, tendrás problemas ya que su ataque provoca Inconsciencia si te golpea. Estos dinosaurios pueden atacarte si se acercan mucho a tu casa y estás dentro de ella, por lo que potencialmente pueden destruir tu base fácilmente si no la tienes hecha de metal y si no eres consciente de su ubicación cuando se acercan.

Es importante recordar que al repartir Inconsciencia, el Tericinosaurio puede hacer que un jugador desmonte de su dinosaurio si está inconsciente.

Debilidades

No puede curarse tan bien como un Rex, a menos que se emplee un pastel vegetal dulce. Attacking behind spikes with a pike can allow you to kill one on foot, as its head will pop over and they won't be able to hit you. Also, it seems to have a fear of deep water - even if you are shooting it it won’t enter it. Obviously a crossbow or raft is required if you can’t shoot it from the other side of a lake.
