La montura de Tropeognathus (Tropeognathus Saddle en la versión original del juego) es una de las monturas disponibles en ARK: Survival Evolved.
Descripción[]
Esta montura viene equipada directamente en un Tropeognathus en la expansión "Crystal Isles". Al contrario que otras monturas no tecnológicas, esta viene con armamento incorporado: un cañón de metal en su espalda y un propulsor en la parte trasera de la criatura.
When mounted, the Jet can be activated which will require 
Gasoline to be placed into the Tropeo's inventory. Once the jet has been activated, it has 3 different speed settings which consume more gasoline with their scaling speed. During the Jet's duration, the Tropeo can also perform a barrel-roll maneuver to evade attackers or to rapidly change direction mid-flight.
As long as the Jet is activated, the flak cannon can be activated as well. It can only be used when the jet is on and will automatically turn back off when the jet turns off. The flak cannon uses 
Grenade as ammo and deals 450 damage against flyers on direct hit, which must be placed in the Tropeo's inventory.

- The armor does actually NOT scale with
Blueprint quality, but the damage dealt by the flak cannon does. - When used with the jet, the speed bypasses the sped up flying speed of both Wyvern and Pteranodon, even Crystal Wyvern, its speed is on par with Griffin.
- The Tropeognathus Saddle is the first saddle to be craftable in a Fabricator.
